A TRIBUTE TO AMERICAN TROOPS
SIMPLY SOFIA - PROUD AMERICAN 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💥💥💥 ♥️♥️♥️- A TRIBUTE TO OUR FREEDOMS BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE 👇🏻🙏🏻👇🏻 RED, WHITE & BLUE + camouflage colors bordered by the dark red representative of the blood shed - Independence Day is a time to reflect on, and cherish the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Our Heroes must also be honored as they walk our streets unassuming. They are our friends, family, neighbors and colleagues - the men and women of our Armed Forces who serve and have served our country ably, courageously and without acclaim. We all know one such individual. They don’t talk much about it, except with hesitation and humility. Also known as Independence Day or July 4th—this day has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues. Let us also celebrate those that contributed in one way or another to the birth of this day.
